Welcome to the Mountain View School’s PTA website. Whether you have a
child starting, midway through or in the final years at Mountain View;
or if you are a community member and supporter, your interest in PTA
activities is appreciated. If you have not already done so, we invite
you to become a PTA member.
Some of the programs our PTA
provides are School Assemblies, Family Fun Nights, Holiday Boutique,
Book Fairs, Positive Behavior System, Special Day Book Club, Disaster
Preparedness, Art Program and the Science Fair. We also greatly
support our Technology Center, Library and Site Safety.
Many
elementary students have the unique opportunity of spending up to seven
years at a single school - almost double the typical high school time.
Mountain View PTA programs foster a strong sense of community between
staff, students, parents and other family members during this time.
The relatively small size of the school has resulted in a family feel
that benefits students with a sense of belonging and confidence. This
support system continues on as students are promoted into Intermediate
School and High School. Please ensure the strong sense of community at
Mountain View continues by participating in PTA activities, supporting
teachers in the classroom, or contributing in your own way.
